The Vibraphonic festival is coming up this spring in exeter. And, it would be incomplete without a heavydose of Haha-fresh approved activities, so.....Deep breath;

George Lazenbleep Vibraphonic Sessions 08

Dusty Toy Space Junk
An open, free workshop, taking apart and modifying children's toys to create wild and wonderful sound generators. No experience of anything required.
Explore the wonderful world of circuit bending with George Lazenbleep. A Vibraphonic special! We will be creatively modifying battery powered children's toys to turn them into weird noise machines. Come and see a demonstration of George's crazed creations then try it for yourself. All ages welcome. Toys provided.
Sat 1st March
The Globe Inn, Exeter 12-5pm, Free Entry,

An evening of experimental music and new cinema. Haha-fresh present the Man from Uranus, SJ Esau and George Lazenbleeps dusty drop-outs. Interspersed with original films in our tiny cinema.

Following on from the Dusty Toy Space Junk workshop George Curates an evening of Sonic Nonsense and Chin stroking visualities.

Headliner MFU is a wild and unpredictable performer, specialising in vintage electronic equipment, and wild live manipulation to create library music and film scores for things that don't exist. Cabaret genius or Old wave surf punk, hold tight and get drunk.

SJ Esau is a poet. Carefully sticking together and looping sounds and instruments to make miniature pop epics. His history is tasty , his live creations are tastier.
Sat 1st March
The Globe Inn, Exeter 8-12pm, Free Entry,

Build a fun box with George Lazenbleep. An intense workshop where participants will create and modify a portable noise party machine. Featuring DIY electronics, Circuitbending and heavy recycling.
A more involved workshop, we will construct, modify and re-house a noise generator and mini-amplifier to take away and terrorise the community. Less free-style than the circuit bending workshops, we will follow a plan, build our machines, then experiment with them to find the inner beast/beat.
No experience necessary, but potentially more suited to the tinkerers. All equipment and resources provided, though you may wish to bring a pretty box.
Sat 15th March
Exeter Phoenix, 10-5pm, £10
